The Historical Muses collection brings together ten figures from history, each representing the Sun, Moon, or one of the planets—from Leonardo da Vinci as the Sun to the other distinctive personalities within this celestial gathering. Explore each Muse’s story and discover a perfume guided by their birth chart and the botanicals available during their lifetime. Each fragrance is available to order for just 28 days, beginning on the Muse’s birthday. These birthday releases unfold throughout the year, offering a limited window to choose the Muse whose story, astrology, or scent speaks to you.
Historical research, astrology, and the art of perfumery come together in each Muse. Every fragrance draws inspiration from a person’s birth chart and the botanical world of their time to be historically accurate to be a scent defined by their planets and stars.
Their birth chart gives the composition its direction. The Rising sign inspires the opening notes and first impression; the Moon shapes the heart, reflecting their emotional world; and the Sun guides the base, giving the perfume its lasting character. These layers unfold as you wear them, revealing different facets of the person behind the Muse.
